October 2024 Stitching Get Away
This secures your seat at Needlepoint Is Cool’s Stitching Get Away October 4-6, 2024!
At our exclusive "Needlepoint Is Cool’s Stitching Getaways", you’ll enjoy nightly Stitching Parties and spend one day each at Emily’s Stitchery and Stitcher’s Garden, stitching, shopping, and learning from local experts.
These getaway weekends offer you a “choose your own” canvas adventure - bring something you are already working on, bring a canvas in your stash and have us help you kit it, or buy something new while you are here.
Emily, Deb, and our amazing local experts will be available for "embellishment" type help - kitting, choosing stitches, teaching stitches or smaller techniques. Our amazing local teachers will also join each day to provide on-the-spot help recommending stitches and teaching smaller techniques.
**This is a smaller event overall (about 12), but we will host these retreats more frequently. You can also purchase seats in groups (if enough seats are available)
**We will provide transportation to spend one day at each store (Stitcher's Garden and Emily's Stitchery) over the weekend
**We will likely ask you to purchase new threads for anything the teachers help with. Working with stash can consume an incredible amount of time, which takes away from other attendees.
**We provide a light dinner on Friday, breakfast and lunch on Saturday, and breakfast and lunch on Sunday.
**Attendees are responsible for their own dinner on Saturday, but there will be a group reservation for anyone who wants to join.
**Needlepoint Is Cool exclusives and trunk shows at each store
**We will recommend a hotel between the two shops where Emily and Deb will stay and host the stitching parties. We’ll send those details to attendees once everyone is confirmed.
Cost of Stitching Getaways is $325 which includes stitching parties, meals as described above, and transportation between stores each day. There may be a surprise or two during the weekend.
Cancellation policy: The fee is non-refundable, but if we can fill your spot with another attendee, you’ll receive 50% of the price in gift cards to either Emily’s Stitchery or Stitcher’s Garden.
